Android - The new Future

Android : A brief History

The beauty of going public is, if you are a truly visionary company, you can start throwing up small startups that might fit into your vision. Android is a software platform for mobile devices, powered by the Linux kernel, initially developed by Google and later the Open Handset Alliance.

Android: Versions of Android

Cupcake was just a phase not an Actual release!

Android: Functionality

It is revolutionizing the mobile industry, and it is spilling onto netbooks and handheld device space.

The Android Ecosystem

And I don't mean just the Open Handset Alliance which is an impressive consortium.

Android: Buzz

2009 will be a year of amazing news for Android. I will update all of you as it unfolds!

The Android Visions

There is openness and there is mobility. Those two values stand at the core of the vision.

Android Future Endeavors: Anything is Possible

Anything is possible with something this flexible! There are so many possibilities.

Fun in the Sun

As you can see my Dad takes mowing the lawn seriously. He is 4 parts determined and 1 part insane!

I really enjoy getting out there and mowing the yard, and the weirdest thing is that I don't know what's so rewarding about it? Maybe being able to see the finished product of your hard labor is what's enjoyable.

It would be easy to just pay someone to come out and tend to my lawn and hedges for me, but I really don't think that would make me happier. And I would be out a nice chunk of money each month on top of that! No... I think that i will continue to mow my lawn for a good while. I love seeing the clean cut grass after a fresh mow and watering it really good to get it ready for it's next trim. If any of you have any thoughts on procurement of your own lawn, leave a comment down below! Stay frosty out there and don't hit those rocks. =)

Listening to Pandora

I love Pandora, what a concept. It used to be commercial free but not I am seeing advertisements. I'm not really upset about it, I just really hoped they would be able to stay ad free. Most services start out like this but ultimately go the advertisement route to start paying the server bills. I'm sure to them it just makes sense! If you've never heard of Pandora I suggest you check it out, you can make your own radio stations that play the kind of music that you like, and it usually gets it right.

Visit Pandora at www.pandora.com

You won't be sorry and you'll have music streaming through your speakers in no time!

Police seize upsidedown American flag

Police went too far!

"WAUSAU, Wis. -- An American flag flown upside down as a protest in a northern Wisconsin village was seized by police before a Fourth of July parade and the businessman who flew it - an Iraq war veteran - claims the officers trespassed and stole his property."

Flying the flag upside down is not disrespectful as people would believe. It is merely a sign of distress. The police ultimately returned the flag the next day but I hope to see more done to rectify this infringement.

Comments anyone?

Bruno Movie Review

I am completely stunned by Sacha Baron Cohen's new movie Bruno! Having said that I will say that if you were not able to stomach Borat, you should not go see this movie. Unsure what I would see in this movie I strolled on down to one of the unpopular theatres (to avoid the lines) in town with my family, I had a sandwich at a Harps Deli before I bought my ticket because I hadn't eaten lunch yet. Anyways, the movie starts out instantly shocking the senses with uncomfortable scenes that can only be described as Blatant Homosexuality! AND IT WAS HILARIOUS. Being a videographer myself, i can really appreciate the amount of work that went into developing and escaping these situations he puts himself in. I am intrigued on how uncomfortable some parts of the movie are, it's almost a tangible feeling. There are a couple sequences in Bruno where I wonder "How in the HELL did they get away with that?".

In short If you like Sacha Baron Cohen and the work he does, and if you liked the movie BORAT, yes very nice; then you will and should like Bruno. I recommend this movie to my readers and hope that you come back with lots of interesting comments about the movie. =D

Annnddd, i'm still up.

Well I have just setup my Twitter account so that I can tweet to my hearts content. Maybe one day birds can actually use it, it seems like maybe they should be tweeting through the interwebs instead of us. If they did that would that mean we would be yelping? Screaming? Yelling?
Hmmm.... Well check out the twitter account, it should be showing up to the right of this post. =D

Night Owl Diary Log #45112.54

So I'm up, it's late. Well the morning to me lately has been around 11AM, so my breakfast is lunch, my lunch is dinner, and my dinner is lost?! I need to get my schedule straight. Me and my dad have been talking about doing a joint blog project. I think that could be a lot of fun, I really don't know how many people will read it but I will maintain that it should be interesting.

The let the shenanigans begin! Is that how you spell it? That's a complicated S word. Well it's not underlined so I think we're a green light on that.
